Mr. Pawan Lohani

Mr. Lohani specializes in public financial management, financial analysis, local governance, and institutional development. He has received MPhil Degree from Vinayaka Mission’s University, India; and master’s degree in business administration from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He has more than 32 years of work experience in public and private sector development. He has extensive exposure to work with various development agencies such as ADB, WB, FCDO, JICA, FINIDA, UNDP, giz, SDC, UNICEF; central government agencies such as MoFAGA, MoHP, MoUD, TDF, DUDBC, DWSS; and sub-national governments (Rural Municipalities, Municipalities and Provencial Government). Mr Lohani is involved in project preparation, implementation, and completion review of several ADB and WB funded urban and water supply projects in Nepal. He has provided inputs for project preparation as a financial management specialist for five ADB PPTA Projects (Integrated Urban Development Project, CFMIP-AF, Reginal Urban Development Project, Third Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project, and Urban Resilience and Livability Improvement Project). In addition, he has provided technical input as an economist/financial analyst for Project Completion Review for several ADB funded projects (Second and Third Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Project, UEIP, STIUEIP, IUDP, SATIDP, Governance Support Program, CBWSSSP etc.). He was also involved in preparing WB funded Emerging Town Project in Nepal and CDIA Support to Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
